Tatianna began working in Canada as a real estate appraiser in 2004.
“Before that, I worked as an appraiser in Eastern Europe for over 5 years. In June 2011, I received my CRA designation as a Canadian Residential Appraiser. In 2013, I started to work with Solidifi and in 2015 I was first recognized as an Extraordinary Appraiser and then again in 2017.”
As an appraiser for over two decades, Tatianna still finds the property assessment field very fulfilling.
“The most rewarding part of the profession is knowing that I have delivered to the lenders reliable market value and diminished their risk, while at the same time, I have provided the applicant with the knowledge that he/she is in good hands.”
Sometimes a client will require a report to be turned around very quickly, even calling at night to reiterate the need for the assessment to be completed as soon as possible, creating pressure and stress for the applicant.
“Over the course of my practice, I have completed a lot of such rush appraisals, working through the night to complete the report right after the inspection so I can keep the lender satisfied and the applicant worry-free.”
Tatianna has thrived as an appraiser for 20-plus years because of her dedication and high level of professionalism.

The Mississauga PEEL region of Ontario that Tatianna services saw a slight increase in the median home price in February.
“The median home price for the Mississauga PEEL region in February 2024 was $900,000. This was an increase of $20,000 from February 2023. The number of homes sold increased as well to 475 in February 2024 vs. 383 in February 2023.”
The uptick in the market in February was reflected in the number of new listings too.
“There were 945 new listings in Mississauga PEEL in February 2024 vs. 681 new listings in February 2023.”
The additional inventory may have had an impact on average days on market.
“Average days on market in February 2024 was 27 vs. 24 in February 2023.”
