TORONTO and OTTAWA (November 17, 2025) – The Solidifi Charitable Foundation (the “Foundation”) today announced that it has donated $40,000 to the Ottawa Mission, a long-standing non-profit dedicated to helping individuals experiencing homelessness in the Ottawa region.

“We are honoured to support the Ottawa Mission’s Maintenance Services Training Program,” said Solidifi Charitable Foundation Chair and Real Matters Chief Executive Officer Brian Lang. “Thanks in part to the generosity of appraisers on our network, our donation will help individuals rebuild their lives through meaningful employment and housing stability. We believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Together, we can help end homelessness, one community at a time.”

This contribution will directly support the Ottawa Mission’s Maintenance Services Training Program – a no-cost, hands-on initiative that equips participants with the skills, certifications, and real-world experience needed to secure employment in building maintenance and property management. The program supports people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in gaining lasting employment, and often a place to live.

“We are deeply grateful for the support of Solidifi and its appraisers,” said Ottawa Mission Chief Executive Officer Peter Tilley. “With more than 3,000 individuals currently experiencing homelessness in Ottawa, housing has been declared an emergency in this city. This donation will allow us to expand the reach of the Maintenance Services Training Program and help more individuals break the cycle of homelessness through employment and dignity.”

The Solidifi Charitable Foundation has been raising funds to support non-profit organizations since 2011. In addition to corporate contributions from Solidifi Canada, the Foundation is funded in part by the generosity of appraisers who participate in our Buck at a Time program through which they donate one dollar ($1) from every Solidifi assignment completed.
